Ratings: “Younger” Hits Viewership Low; Tanks on TV Land

Last week, the Nick at Nite and TV Land editions of freshman series “Younger” enjoyed viewership gains.

Across those concurrent broadcasts, the episode ranked as the most-watched “Younger” installment since the series premiere. It set a new series high in the coveted adults 18-49 demographic.

The good news did not continue this week. Both editions of “Younger” slipped this week, and the result was a series low viewership total.

This week’s “Younger” scored a 0.22 adults 18-49 rating with 501,000 viewers on Nick at Nite and a 0.12 with 425,000 on TV Land. Those broadcasts combined for a 0.34 adults 18-49 rating with 926,000 viewers.

Responsible for an overall viewership low, this week’s episode also set a new low on Nick at Nite. Though far sharper, its TV Land did not produce a new low for one of that network’s broadcasts; the 4/14 episode attracted only 344,000 TV Land viewers.

Last week’s edition drew a 0.24 with 615,000 viewers on Nick at Nite and a 0.21 with 616,000 viewers on TV Land. The airings combined for a 0.45 with 1.231 million viewers.

“Younger” has already been renewed for a second season.
