Sawyer Fredericks’ “Shine On” Debuts on Hot 100; Meghan Linsey is “Bubbling Under”

While it does not start as impressively as the previous week’s “Simple Man” (#71), Sawyer Fredericks’ “Shine On” still manages to reach the weekly Billboard Hot 100. It is the week’s only “The Voice” single to do so.

Performed during the Top 6 performance show, “Shine On” lands at #99 on this week’s Hot 100. That bow, which marks Fredericks’ fourth appearance after “Imagine,” “Iris” and “Simple Man,” comes in conjunction with a #27 start on the Digital Songs subchart.

Unable to reach this week’s Hot 100, Meghan Linsey’s take on “Amazing Grace” does arrive at #9 on the “Bubbling Under Hot 100” chart.

That chart lists the top songs that have yet to make an appearance on the actual Hot 100.

Linsey’s “Bubbling Under” appearance comes in conjunction with the song’s #35 bow on Digital Songs.

Fredericks and Linsey join Koryn Hawthorne and Joshua Davis in next week’s “Voice” finale.
