The Voice’s Koryn Hawthorne Wins Instant Save; Joins Sawyer, Meghan, Joshua in Finale

Lightning did not strike thrice for Team Christina’s India Carney.

Given the choice to Instantly Save either Carney or Team Pharrell’s Koryn Hawthorne, a narrow majority of active “The Voice” voters decided to push the latter through to the finale.

Carney had earned the previous two Instant Saves.

Hawthorne reaches next week’s finale as part of a top four that also includes her teammate Sawyer Fredericks, Team Adam’s Joshua Davis and Team Blake’s Meghan Linsey.

Hawthorne performed “If I Were a Boy” to lock up this week’s Instant Save. Carney relied on “Dark Side” to capture the hearts of voters.

The eighth winner of NBC’s “The Voice” will be crowned next week.
