ABC Keeps TGIT Intact; Starts “Muppets” on Tuesday, “Dr. Ken” on Friday

While it welcome some new series into the mix, ABC’s fall 2015-16 schedule features no structural changes.

Monday nights remain occupied by “Dancing with the Stars” and “Castle.” Tuesday will feature comedies from 8-9PM (“The Muppets”/”Fresh Off the Boat”), “Agents of SHIELD” from 9-10PM and a freshman drama at 10PM (new series “Quantico”). Wednesday’s block mirrors that of the 2014-15 season: “The Middle,” “The Goldbergs,” “Modern Family” and “black-ish” successively fill the 8-10PM half hours, while “Nashville” closes the night at 10PM.

Thursday will again feature the “TGIT” lineup of “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal” and “How to Get Away with Murder.” Friday opens with two comedies (“Last Man Standing”/”Dr. Ken”) before “Shark Tank” and “20/20.”

College football owns Saturday night in the fall, while Sunday opens with veteran “America’s Funniest Home Videos” before leading into a trio of drama (“Once Upon a Time,” “OIL” and “Of Kings and Prophets”).

New series “The Real O’Neals,” “Uncle Buck,” “The Catch,” “The Family” and “Wicked City” will bow at midseason. “Agent Carter,” “Galavant,” “American Crime” and “Secrets and Lies” will also return at that point.
