Old Dominion’s “Break Up with Him” Ranks as Country Radio’s Most Added

Picked up by 36 Mediabase-monitored country stations in conjunction with this week’s official impact, Old Dominion’s new “Break Up with Him” ranks as the format’s most added song.

The solid adds week, which brings the song’s current station count to 76, comes as “Break Up with Him” debuts on the Mediabase country airplay chart. Spun 497 times during the May 3-9 tracking week (for a total of 1,875 Mediabase chart points), Old Dominion’s single lands at #50 on the chart.

It meanwhile appears at #42 on the corresponding Billboard Country Airplay listing.

As far as the Mediabase add board goes, Lee Brice’s new “That Don’t Sound Like You” claims second-most added this week. The follow-up to his #1 hit “Drinking Class” receive adds from 29 monitored stations.

Chris Janson’s iHeartRadio “On the Verge” track “Buy Me a Boat” follows with 21 adds, while Brett Eldredge’s “Lose My Mind” (20 adds, 4th-most added) and Zac Brown Band’s “Loving You Easy” (18 adds, 5th-most added) complete the top five.

Other popular country radio options: Jackie Lee’s “Headphones” (16 adds, 6th-most added), Sam Hunt’s “House Party” (15 adds, 7th-most added), Michael Ray’s “Kiss You in the Morning” (14 adds, 8th-most added), Darius Rucker’s “Southern Style” (12 adds, 9th-most added), Rachele Lynae’s “Whole Lotta Nothin'” (11 adds, 10th-most added, tie) and Thomas Rhett’s “Crash and Burn” (11 adds, 10th-most added).
