Meghan Trainor’s “Dear Future Husband” is officially a Top 15 hit at pop radio.
Spun ~5,843 times during the May 3-9 tracking week, “Husband” rises one place to a new peak of #15 on the Mediabase pop airplay chart. It follows the #1 smash “All About That Bass” and #4-peaking “Lips are Movin” as the singer-songwriter’s third Top 15 pop entry.
The multi-format offering also ascends into the Top 15 on this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary airplay chart. Thanks to its ~2,416 tracking week spins, it rises three places to #15 on that format’s chart. (Jason Derulo’s “Want to Want Me” (#13, +4) and Nate Ruess’ “Nothing Without Love” (#14, +2) also reach Hot AC’s Top 15 this week)
As for pop, “Husband” is the week’s only new addition to the Top 15. Two songs do, however, officially jump into the format’s Top 20.
Courtesy its ~3,634 spins, Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen” rises two places to a new peak of #19 on the pop airplay chart. Andy Grammer’s “Honey, I’m Good,” meanwhile, rises three places to #20 on the strength of its ~3,413 tracking week spins.
“Dear Future Husband” is the third official single from Trainor’s “Title.” In addition to holding Top 15 Mediabase radio positions, it also sits at a peak of #18 on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.
