Sawyer Fredericks’ “Simple Man” Debuts on the Hot 100

Sawyer Fredericks’ rendition of “Simple Man” is now the highest-charting of this season’s “The Voice” recordings.

Driven by an impressive sales performance, the Team Pharrell contestant’s cover reaches #71 on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.

Fredericks previously charted with “Imagine” (#98) and “Iris” (#100).

“Simple Man,” which also appears at #18 on the Digital Songs subchart, is the only “The Voice” recording on this week’s Hot 100.

Joshua Davis’ “Fields of Gold” and Kimberly Nichole’s “Creep” do, however, land on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart. They appear at #19 and #23, respectively, on that listing, which spotlights the top songs that have yet to reach the actual Hot 100.
