Ratings: NBC’s “AD: The Bible Continues,” “American Odyssey” Stay Low

So much for blaming last week’s deflated performances on the 2015 Academy of Country Music Awards.

Neither NBC’s “AD: The Bible Continues” nor its “American Odyssey” improved this week.

If fast national data holds, the former actually suffered a decline.

That data says that “AD” drew a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating with 5.72 million. While the demo rating is even with that reported in last week’s fast national report, it trails the 1.2 delivered in the finals. Last week’s episode attracted 6.36 million viewers to go along with its 1.2.

Even if this week’s rating receives a similar upward adjustment in the finals, it will still represent a disappointment. In addition to facing less competition, “Bible Continues” also benefited from a stronger lead-in (a 1.3 with 7.27 million from “Dateline” this week versus a 0.6 with 4.00 million from an “AD” re-run last week).

Lead-out “American Odyssey” drew a 0.5 with 2.93 million viewers this week. Last week’s scored a 0.5 with 3.11 million.
