As Saturday’s Radio Disney Music Awards ceremony progressed, Tori Kelly, Rachel Platten and R5 all had the chance to take the stage.
Dubbed “Music’s Biggest Event for Families,” the show represented an enormous opportunity for the three artists. Set to receive decent viewership and fare particularly well with valuable younger demographics, the annual ceremony put Kelly, Platten and R5 in position to accelerate their respective rises.
Their performances, which came on a bill also featuring Nick Jonas, Fifth Harmony, Sheppard, Becky G, Sabrina Carpenter and Natalie La Rose, will air as part of Sunday’s Disney Channel broadcast.
