Following up on Friday’s big announcement, in which Sabrina Carpenter, Fifth Harmony and Natalie La Rose were added to the bill, Radio Disney has confirmed another round of performers for this weekend’s Radio Disney Music Awards ceremony.
Joining the aforementioned Carpenter, Fifth Harmony and La Rose–as well as Nick Jonas, Becky G, R5 and Rachel Platten–are Tori Kelly, Sheppard and Shawn Mendes.
Confirmed Monday, the reveal brings two more iHeartRadio “On the Verge” artists onto the program. Like Jonas, Fifth Harmony, Rachel Platten and Natalie La Rose, Tori Kelly and Sheppard have received support from that music discovery initiative.
Mendes has not, but he will almost certainly enter this weekend’s show as the artist behind the best-selling album in America. His “Handwritten” is expected to top this week’s editions of the Billboard 200 and Billboard Top Album Sales charts.
Dubbed “Music’s Biggest Event for Families,” the RDMA ceremony will be taped on April 25. Disney Channel will air the resulting telecast on April 26.
