Zac Brown’s “Homegrown” Holds #1 at Country Radio; A Thousand Horses, Kenny Go Top 10

When it comes to the Mediabase country radio chart, the showdown between Zac Brown Band’s “Homegrown” and Sam Hunt’s “Take Your Time” again falls in favor of the former.

“Homegrown” tops the Mediabase chart for the second straight week, while “Take Your Time” again grabs the #2 position.

Not simply the #1 song in terms of Mediabase chart points, “Homegrown” also repeats as the format’s most played and most heard song this week. It received ~8,207 country spins and ~64.310 million audience impressions during the April 5-11 tracking week.

#2 in both columns, Hunt’s “Take Your Time” received ~8,099 tracking week spins and ~63.144 million audience impressions.

Dierks Bentley’s “Say You Do” (#3), Lee Brice’s “Drinking Class” (#4) and Chris Young’s “Lonely Eyes” (#5) form the balance of this week’s top five. All three songs were in last week’s Top 5, but “Say You Do” and “Lonely Eyes” swap places on this week’s listing.

The top 10, meanwhile, welcomes a pair of newcomers in A Thousand Horses’ “Smoke” and Kenny Chesney’s “Wild Child (with Grace Potter).” The former rises two places to a new peak of #9 this week, while the latter jumps two spots to #10.
