Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody” Crosses the 500K Sales Mark; Rises at Pop

Thanks to another solid weekly performance, Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody (featuring Jeremih)” now possesses a cumulative sales sum of greater than 500,000.

According to Nielsen, “Somebody” moved 74,390 paid downloads during the most recent tracking week. Enough to secure “Somebody” the #15 position on Billboard’s weekly Digital Songs chart, the weekly tally thrusts the Dutch artist’s breakthrough single past the half-million sales mark.

By the end of the tracking week ending April 5, “Somebody” boasted a cumulative sales total of 552,587.

News of the sales milestone comes days before “Somebody” officially secures a top 5 position on Mediabase’s weekly pop radio airplay chart. Currently #5 on the rolling listing, La Rose’s track is expected to earn the #4 position on Sunday’s official chart. From there, it will work its way toward pop radio’s #1 position.

“Somebody” has already conquered the rhythmic radio format. The song has thus far spent three weeks atop the Billboard Rhythmic Songs chart and one at the apex of the corresponding Mediabase listing.

After reaching a peak of #10 on last week’s Hot 100, “Somebody” appears at #11 on this week’s chart.
