The Voice’s Joshua Davis, Kimberly Nichole Surge on iTunes Chart (Updated)

Update: Voting for Tuesday’s “The Voice” performances has come to a close, and Joshua Davis’ “Budapest” indeed represented the best-selling of the ten recordings.

When the clock struck 12PM, “Budapest” was up to #17 on the all-genre iTunes single sales chart.

Kimberly Nichole’s “What’s Up” followed closely at #23, while Deanna Johnson’s “Down to the River to Pray” was positioned at #30.

Here is how the entirety of Tuesday’s numbers were positioned when voting closed:

Tuesday’s edition of “The Voice” featured several strong performances, and the iTunes chart reflects that reality.

No song has crossed into bonus territory (top ten), but a handful are positioned very prominently on the all-genre single sales chart.

Presently leading the way is Joshua Davis’ “Budapest.” The Team Adam contestant’s take on the George Ezra hit is up to #25 on the chart.

Its position is strong, but “Budapest” has not left the competition in its dust. Currently #34, Kimberly Nichole’s “What’s Up” is reasonably close behind. Kimberly Nichole is competing on behalf of Team Christina.

Deanna Johnson, who is a member of Team Adam, also holds a spot within the top 40. Her “Down to the River to Pray” sits at #39 on the all-genre chart.

Brian Johnson’s “At This Moment” (#79) and India Carney’s “Hurt” (#91) also rank among the Top 100 sellers at the iTunes store. Johnson and Carney represent Team Adam and Team Christina, respectively.
