Ratings: CBS’ “Battle Creek” Slips to a Series Low on Easter

After two weeks of stability in adults 18-49, CBS’ “Battle Creek” set a new series low on Easter Sunday.

It also represented the least-watched installment to date.

According to fast national data, the latest edition of CBS’ drew a reduced 0.7 adults 18-49 rating with 5.66 million viewers.

Both are lows for “Battle Creek,” which posted a 0.8 with 6.02 million per last week’s final data.

While Easter can shoulder some of the blame for this week’s decline, it does not change the fact that “Battle Creek” has been an irrefutable ratings disappointment since premiering on March 1.

Granted, it does not receive much in the way of lead-in support. Never a strong performer, its direct “The Good Wife” lead-in has been posting particularly weak numbers this spring.

Sunday was no exception. It drew a paltry 1.0 rating with 7.78 million viewers in the 9PM hour.

Earlier in the night, CBS aired “Madam Secretary” (1.1, 9.12 million) and “60 Minutes” (0.9, 7.72 million).
