Songs by two of country’s biggest superstars are among the week’s biggest airplay movers.
Jason Aldean’s “Tonight Looks Good on You” and Blake Shelton’s “Sangria,” those songs, blast into the Top 30 and Top 40, respectively, on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.
Aldean’s “Tonight” rises seven places to a new high of #30 on the chart. Its position is attributable to the 8.045 million audience impressions it received during the most recent tracking week (+3.492 million).
It represents the lone addition to the weekly Top 30.
Shelton’s “Sangria,” meanwhile, blasts ten places to a new high of #37. It received 5.129 million audience impressions this past week (+2.767 million).
It is the only new Top 40 entry this week.
Both “Tonight” and “Sangria” are follow-ups to #1 country radio hits. They are also both third singles from recently released albums.
Zac Brown Band’s “Homegrown” leads the chart for a second consecutive week (44.725 million audience impressions).
