Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody” Claims #1 at Rhythmic, Hits New Mediabase Pop Peak

As it enjoys a second week atop Billboard’s Rhythmic Songs chart, Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody” reaches the apex of the corresponding Mediabase listing.

La Rose’s debut single “Somebody” is now #1 on the official Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart.

The song, which features Jeremih, earns the top spot thanks to the 6,614 spins it received during the March 29-April 4 tracking period. It was #2 on last week’s chart.

Chris Brown & Tyga’s “Ayo,” which held the top spot last week, slips to #2 on this week’s edition. It received 6,358 tracking week spins.

The Weeknd’s “Earned It” (#3, 6,048 spins), Nicki Minaj’s “Truffle Butter (featuring Drake and Lil Wayne)” (#4, 5,576 spins) and Flo Rida’s “GDFR (featuring Sage the Gemini and Lookas)” (#5, 4,383 spins) form the balance of the weekly top five.

— Not simply a force at rhythmic radio, La Rose’s breakthrough also reaches a new peak at pop. The recipient of 11,595 weekly pop spins, “Somebody” rises two places to a new peak of #6 on this week’s Mediabase pop airplay chart.

The multi-format meanwhile reaches the Top 40 at hot adult contemporary this week. It remains within the urban radio Top 50.
