Over the past few months, US music fans and radio programmers have demonstrated that they want to rock with Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody.”
That enthusiasm has turned the song into a top ten hit.
“Somebody,” which features Jeremih, rises to a new peak of #10 (+3) on this week’s Billboard Hot 100. The lift comes as the song celebrates its tenth week on the all-encompassing chart.
The rise on the overall Hot 100 comes in conjunction with gains on two key subcharts. While “Somebody” slips one place to #14 on Digital Songs (despite a 7% gain to 68,000 weekly sales), it jumps two places to a high of #8 on Radio Songs (73 million audience impressions) and twelve places to a high of #19 on Streaming Songs (4.3 million US streams).
Enjoying its most notable success at radio, “Somebody” holds impressive positions on two key genre airplay charts. It spends a second week atop the Billboard Rhythmic Songs chart and holds (with a strong bullet) at its #8 Pop Songs peak.
