Newly named an iHeartRadio “On the Verge” song, Nate Ruess’ “Nothing Without Love” predictably earns this week’s most added distinction at pop radio.

The “On the Verge” program, which helped launch Tove Lo’s #1 pop hit “Habits (Stay High)” and Nick Jonas’ #1 pop hit “Jealous,” provides selected songs with guaranteed airplay from iHeartMedia radio stations.

New York’s powerhouse pop station Z100 and Los Angeles’ powerhouse pop station 102.7 KIIS are on that list of iHeart stations, and they predictably added “Nothing Without Love” to their playlists this week.

“Nothing” is the first true solo release from the fun. frontman. Prior to its release, Ruess’ pop radio success came courtesy his work with the band and the “Just Give Me a Reason” duet he released with P!nk.

Rihanna’s new “Bitch Better Have My Money” follows as pop’s second-most added song this week. The recipient of 37 monitored pop adds, it also enjoyed impressive weeks at the rhythmic and urban formats.

Meghan Trainor’s surging “Dear Future Husband” ranks as 3rd-most added on the strength of its 31 pickups, while The Weeknd’s “Earned It” and David Guetta’s “Hey Mama (featuring Nicki Minaj and Afrojack)” also appear within the top five. They received 29 and 23 weekly adds, respectively.

Other popular options for pop programmers: Flo Rida’s “GDFR (featuring Sage the Gemini and Lookas)” (22 adds, 6th-most added), DJ Snake & AlunaGeorge’s “You Know You Like It” (20 adds, 7th-most added), Jake Miller’s “Dazed and Confused (featuring Travie McCoy)” (20 adds, 7th-most added), Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance” (20 adds, 7th-most added), R5’s “Let’s Not Be Alone Tonight” (19 adds, 10th-most added).
