Taylor Swift’s “Style” Becomes Hot AC Radio’s Most Played Song

As it works to fight off Maroon 5’s “Sugar” and earn a third straight week at #1 on the pop airplay chart, Taylor Swift’s “Style” puts itself in position to go #1 at another key radio format.

According to Mediabase, “Style” now ranks as hot adult contemporary radio’s most played song.

“Style” claims #1 on Saturday’s edition of the rolling Hot AC airplay chart courtesy the 7,008 spins it received between March 21 and 27. If it can retain its lead for one more day–and all indications are that it will–it will officially top the format’s airplay chart (which is based on Sunday-Saturday airplay).

Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud,” which is #2 on the rolling chart, claimed #1 on last week’s edition of the official Hot AC listing.

Swift’s previous “1989” singles “Style” and “Blank Space” also reached #1 at Hot AC.

In addition to its #1 positions at pop and Hot AC, “Style” holds the #13 position on the rolling adult contemporary chart and the #32 spot on the rhythmic listing.
