RaeLynn’s “For a Boy” Debuts on “Bubbling Under Hot 100” Chart

The official follow-up to RaeLynn’s “God Made Girls” is officially “Bubbling Under” the Billboard Hot 100.

Thanks largely to its opening week sales total of 27,000–which positions the song at #3 on the weekly Country Digital Songs chart (behind only Sam Hunt’s “Take Your Time” and Zac Brown Band’s “Home Grown”)–the emerging country star’s “For a Boy” opens at #15 on the “Bubbling Under” chart.

That chart highlights the top songs that have yet to reach the actual Billboard Hot 100.

Because the new RaeLynn tune benefited from stellar-yet-inflated first week sales interest and does not yet have significant streaming and radio traction, it is likely to fall on next week’s chart. It is not necessarily on the immediate verge of entering the Hot 100.

But the fact that it performed well enough to debut on “Bubbling Under” following its first week of availability speaks to RaeLynn’s resonance in the market. She definitely has support.

Other “Bubbling Under” debuts:

— Future’s “Commas” at #11.
— Empire Cast featuring V. Bozeman’s “What is Love” at #12.
— Luke Bryan’s “Spring Breakdown” at #16.
— Brad Paisley’s “Crushin’ It” at #18.
— DJ Snake & AlunaGeorge’s “You Know You Like It” at #19.
— Josh Turner’s “Lay Low” at #20.
— Empire Cast featuring Jussie Smollett & Yazz’ “No Apologies” at #23.
