Sam Hunt’s “Take Your Time” is the country genre’s hottest song for a third straight week.
The follow-up to Hunt’s chart-topping breakthrough “Leave the Night On” again reigns over the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
Its #1 position on that all-encompassing listing comes in conjunction with its #1 position on Country Digital Songs (single sales), #1 position on Country Streaming Songs and #14 position on Country Airplay.
“Take Your Time” ranks at #39 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100. Down three places from last week’s peak, the position is nonetheless immensely impressive for a song that still has plenty of room to rise at country radio and has still yet to benefit from the release of a music video.
Thomas Rhett’s “Make Me Wanna,” which leads the Country Airplay chart, holds the #2 spot on this week’s Hot Country Songs chart. Blake Shelton’s “Lonely Tonight (featuring Ashley Monroe)” (#3), Luke Bryan’s “I See You” (#4) and Florida Georgia Line’s “Sun Daze” (#5) claim the other top five slots.
