Update: Taylor Swift’s “Wonderland” debuts at #9 on the Billboard Digital Songs chart. It commanded 84,000 first-week downloads.
===========
Last week, Taylor Swift made deluxe “1989” track “Wonderland” available for purchase in the United States iTunes store.
It did not perform like a blockbuster, but it did command solid interest from buyers. And it did get started within the top ten of the weekly digital single sales chart.
According to Nielsen, “Wonderland” debuts at #9 on the Billboard Digital Songs listing.
In doing so, it becomes the sixth Digital Songs top ten from “1989.” Previous top ten hits came in the form of “Shake it Off” (#1 peak), “Out of the Woods” (#1 peak), “Blank Space” (#1 peak), “Welcome to New York” (#5 peak) and “Style” (#7 peak).
“Style,” which is Taylor Swift’s current official single, appears at #8 on this week’s edition of the Digital Songs chart. It commanded 99,000 weekly paid downloads.
