While Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney’s “FourFiveSeconds” slips two places to #6 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100, it rises on the Radio Songs subchart.
After reaching a peak of #13 on last week’s Radio Songs chart, the superstar collaboration this week rises to #10 on the strength of its 70 million all-format impressions.
In doing so, it helps Rihanna tie a record held by Mariah Carey.
Like Mariah, Rihanna’s discography now includes a whopping 23 Radio Songs Top 10s.
Prior to the ascent of “FourFiveSeconds,” Rihanna was a comfortable second on the all-time list. Other Radio Songs standouts include Lil Wayne (18 top 10s), Jay Z (17 top 10s), Ludacris (17 top 10s), T-Pain (17 top 10s) and Usher (17 top 10s).
“FourFiveSeconds” is Kanye West’s twelfth top ten hit on the Radio Songs chart. It is Paul McCartney’s first*.
*The Radio Songs chart dates back to 1990.
