After showing impressive stability last week, AMC’s “Breaking Bad” spin-off “Better Call Saul” endured double digit percentage losses this week.
Monday’s episode, which was the series’ fourth broadcast to date, drew a 1.38 adults 18-49 rating with 2.87 million viewers. It trailed last week’s performance (1.58 rating, 3.23 million viewers) by 13% in adults 18-49 and 11% in viewership.
Still strong by AMC (and overall cable) standards, the latest numbers provide more indication that “Better Call Saul” is not going to be a blockbuster performer for AMC.
This week’s episode was Monday’s third highest rated cable program (in adults 18-49). The previous two Monday installments ranked at the top of the cable leaderboard.
