Update: By selling 22,009 copies during the most recent tracking week, Nicki Minaj’s “The Pinkprint” brings itself past the 500,000 sales mark.

The album now claims a cumulative US sales total of 509,022.
=============
A staple of the weekly top 20 since debuting in December, Nicki Minaj’s “The Pinkprint” now claims a cumulative album sales total in excess of 500,000.

According to Hits Daily Double’s pure album sales report, “The Pinkprint” moved approximately 20,968 copies during the most recent tracking week. The final Billboard/Soundscan number will differ slightly, but the disparity should not be enough to delay the 500,000 milestone.

Going into last week’s sales race, “The Pinkprint” was only 12,987 copies away from the half-million mark. If the Hits Daily Double figure holds, the album will possess a new cumulative sales mark of ~507,981.

Minaj’s third studio album, “The Pinkprint” debuted on December 15, 2014. It moved 198,000 copies in its first week of release.
