Nick Jonas’ “Chains,” Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody” Reach Pop’s Top 25

Two of pop radio’s greatest airplay gainers officially vault into the Top 25 of Mediabase’s weekly airplay chart.

Nick Jonas’ “Chains,” which is the pop format’s ninth-greatest-gainer (+842 spins), grabs the #24 spot on this week’s listing. Its position, which bests that of last week by three places, comes courtesy the 3,308 spins it received during the February 8-14 tracking period.

Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody (featuring Jeremih),” meanwhile, rises four places to a new peak of #25. Its position is the result of its 3,130 tracking week spins. That spin count comes thanks to a week-over-week gain of 926, which was the seventh-greatest at pop radio this week.

“Somebody” is charting even more impressively at rhythmic radio. It rises to the #10 spot on this week’s official rhythmic airplay listing.

Other movers on the Mediabase pop chart:

— Tove Lo’s “Talking Body” (#27, +5), Ariana Grande’s “One Last Time” (#28, +18), Jessie J’s “Masterpiece” (#29, +6) and Nicki Minaj’s “Truffle Butter (featuring Drake and Lil Wayne)” (#30, +6) reach the top 30 this week.

— Tori Kelly’s “Nobody Love” (#34, +60) and Sam Smith’s “Lay Me Down” (#39, +17) blast into the Top 40 this week.

Songs on the move just beneath the top 40 include Echosmith’s “Bright” (#41, +325 spins), Who is Fancy’s “Goodbye” (#45, +208 spins) and Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance” (#46, +255 spins).
