Ratings: “The Americans” Falls in Adults 18-49, Gains in Viewership

FX’s critically acclaimed “The Americans” received a combination of good and bad news in the latest ratings report.

Wednesday’s episode, which was the third of the series’ third season, commanded a 0.3 adults 18-49 rating. Down from last week’s 0.4, the number ties a series low.

Viewership, however, rose slightly to 1.02 million viewers. Last week’s episode, which was the least-watched on record, attracted 0.92 million viewers.

Still very low, even by the relaxed standards of “The Americans,” this week’s viewership total does rank as the series’ second-lowest on record.
