Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” is not the week’s only new addition to the Hot 100’s top ten.
“FourFiveSeconds,” a collaboration between Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney that serves as the lead single for Rihanna’s forthcoming studio album, also flies into the top ten percent of Billboard’s all-encompassing listing.
Up nine places this week, “FourFiveSeconds” grabs the #6 slot.
The rise can be attributed to the release of the official video (3.8 million streams, +830%), rising sales (181,000, +31%) and rising radio audience (46 million impressions, +33%).
“FourFiveSeconds” represents McCartney’s first top ten hit since 1985/1986’s “Spies Like Us” and West’s first such hit since 2011’s “N**gas in Paris.” It is Rihanna’s 26th top ten hit.
