The biggest hit of Paramore’s career is now a Grammy-winning song.
“Ain’t it Fun,” that track, won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Song. The cut from the band’s self-titled album, which is credited to songwriters Hayley Williams and Taylor York, bested Beck’s “Blue Moon,” the Black Keys’ “Fever,” Ryan Adam’s “Gimme Something Good” and Jack White’s “Lazaretto.”
The lattermost song did not go home empty-handed. While it did not win for Best Rock Song, it did pick up the trophy for Best Rock Performance.
Also victorious in the rock segment: Tenacious D’s “The Last in Line,” which won for Best Metal Performance. Best Rock Album will be revealed on the CBS telecast Sunday night.
