NBC Renews “Blacklist,” “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago PD,” “SVU” and “Grimm”

The majority of NBC’s dramas are locks to remain active next season.

The network announced Thursday that sophomore dramas “The Blacklist” and “Chicago PD,” third year drama “Chicago Fire,” fourth season drama “Grimm” and season sixteen veteran “Law & Order: SVU” have all been renewed for the 2015-16 television season.

“The creative vision of the executive producers who’ve guided these outstanding dramas has been nothing short of incredible,” said NBC’s Jennifer Salke. “We’re highly appreciative of the passion they bring to their shows at every step of the creative process and we’re thrilled to reward that dedication with these renewals.”

As far as NBC dramas go, the renewal announcement leaves “State of Affairs” and “The Mysteries of Laura” on the bubble. Comedies “About a Boy” and “Marry Me” are also without clear news on their futures.
