FOX’s “Empire” continues to grow.
For the fourth consecutive week, the blockbuster drama climbed to a new series high mark in total viewership. Wednesday’s episode, meanwhile, more than rebounded from last week’s dip in adults 18-49–it scored its best number yet in the coveted young adults demo.
Per fast national ratings, the episode, which was entitled “Dangerous Bonds,” drew a whopping 4.6 adults 18-49 rating with 11.47 million viewers.
Last week’s installment posted a 4.3 adults 18-49 rating with 11.36 million in the final nationals. The previous week’s episode, which attracted 11.07 million viewers, drew a then-series high 4.4 adults 18-49 rating.
Notable about this week’s “Empire” performance, beyond the sheer magnitude of the number, is that its audience grew from start-to-finish. After opening with a 4.5 adults 18-49 rating from 9-9:30PM, “Empire” posted a 4.7 in its back half hour.
