Promising to offer fans “unprecedented, multiplatform access to red carpet arrivals and behind-the-scenes action leading up to and throughout the 57th Annual Grammy Awards,” CBS and the Recording Academy today detailed plans for “Grammy Live.”
The service, which will commence at 3PM ET on February 8 and last beyond the 11:30PM conclusion of the ceremony, will feature the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony (non-televised awards revelations), red carpet coverage with Quddus (MTV) and Louise Roe (“Access Hollywood”) and Andrew Burnette, multiple camera angles and perspectives during the Grammy Awards ceremony, backstage and behind-the-scenes looks at the show, in-audience correspondents, fan-submitted Q&A, real-time social media trending data and a post-event wrap-up show.
The platform will be available at: http://www.grammy.com/live
In conjunction with “Grammy Live,” the 57th Annual Grammy Awards will feature an official live blog. Providing commentary as the “Official Special Guest Blogger” will be Rita Ora.
“The live-blog will also offer fans GRAMMY red-carpet updates; a one-of-a-kind front-row seat from the GRAMMY “mosh pit,” just steps away from the GRAMMY stage; the latest GRAMMY updates from Twitter and Instagram; color commentary on the GRAMMY telecast; and the ability for users to comment and be a part of the lively dialog about the show,” says the official press release.
