==================
The CW’s “Reign” and “The Vampire Diaries” are back, and they are evidently not as hot as they were in December.
Despite facing limited competition, neither matched the ratings delivered by its previous installment on December 11.
The first 2015 installment of 9PM drama “Reign” drew a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating with 1.25 million viewers. The previous episode scored a 0.5 with 1.42 million viewers.
Lead-in “The Vampire Diaries,” meanwhile, slipped to a 0.7 with 1.65 million viewers. Its previous edition was good for a 0.9 and 1.82 million viewers.
Both series are already renewed for next season.
