Filled with meta commentary, Sue Sylvester scheming and a sizable dose of hypnosis, Friday’s “The Hurt Locker, Part One” edition of “Glee” ends as the show choir invitational begins.
That invitational, which finds Rachel and Kurt’s resurrected New Directions battling Blaine’s Warblers and Mr. Schuester’s Vocal Adrenaline, represents a pivotal moment for all three teams. It thus represents a perfect opportunity for FOX’s “Glee” to extends its storytelling into a second episode.
Set to air on January 30, “The Hurt Locker, Part Two” features the conclusion of the invitational (including some last-minute recruiting for the New Directions) and the next phase in Sue’s plan to reunite Kurt and Blaine.
“Sue is at it again, trying to mend relationships that she thinks need mending. Meanwhile, Kitty helps Rachel find the perfect set list to win the invitational and Sam recruits football player Spencer to join the glee club in the all-new “The Hurt Locker, Part Two” episode of GLEE,” reads FOX’s official synopsis.
In support of the January 30 edition of “Glee,” FOX issued behind-the-scenes production photos. Those follow:
