“Total Divas” Ratings Hold Up Well Despite Golden Globes

Airing without lead-in support from a Kardashians series and against hefty competition from NBC’s Golden Globes telecast, Sunday’s edition of “Total Divas” was not in an enviable position.

Despite the challenges, the episode delivered the second-best viewership mark of the season. When it comes to the show’s third season episodes, only last week’s midseason premiere drew a larger audience.

Sunday’s “Total Divas,” which featured the debut of new cast member Alicia Fox, drew a 0.7 adults 18-49 with 1.295 million viewers. Even with last week’s mark in adults 18-49 and down only slightly in viewers (last week’s broadcast drew 1.411 million) despite the higher degree of difficulty, this week’s performance is certainly worthy of praise.

Like last week, this Sunday’s “Total Divas” drew a 0.9 in the adults 18-34 demographic. Its only notable hit came in females 12-34; after posting a 1.2 in the demo for its midseason premiere, “Divas” settled for a 0.9 this Sunday.
