Madonna to Play Grammys Two Days Before “Living for Love” Impacts Radio

Thus far, CBS has been completely silent regarding the acts due to perform at the annual Grammy Awards ceremony.

One of the acts long rumored to play the show has not been quite so silent.

Late Monday night, pop icon Madonna issued a social media alert confirming she will be present for the February 8 Grammy Awards broadcast.

“Rebel Hearts see you Feb 8th The GRAMMYs ‪#‎GRAMMY‬’s #rebelheart,” read the post, which was shared on the artist’s official Facebook and Twitter accounts.

While Madonna did not technically claim she is performing on the show, that is indeed the plan. And insofar as she had to be cognizant of the performance rumors, Madonna’s message clearly seems intent on communicating that plan.

Insofar as the Grammys broadcast comes two days before her single “Living for Love” formally impacts the pop radio format, the assumption is that she will use the high-profile platform to showcase the song (either in a medley or as a standalone number).
