Meghan Trainor to Perform on NBC’s 1/15 “The Tonight Show”

During her song’s explosive run this fall, Meghan Trainor joined Jimmy Fallon and The Roots for a “Classroom Instruments” version of “All About That Bass.” The performance aired as part of the September 4, 2014 edition of NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

When Trainor performs on the iconic talk show next week, she will do so in a more conventional capacity.

NBC announced that Trainor, whose debut full-length album “Title” arrives on 1/13, will perform on the January 15 edition of “Tonight.” Per NBC’s current listings, musical guest Trainor will be accompanied by The Roots.

“Title”–and Trainor’s confirmed “Tonight Show” performance–come as new single “Lips are Movin” continues to climb. Flirting with the top ten at the pop and hot adult contemporary radio formats, “Lips are Movin” has gone as high as #4 on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100 chart.
