Meghan Trainor’s “Title” Songs Surge on Sales Chart

As music fans celebrate Christmas and redeem their new iTunes gift cards, they are devoting particular attention to tracks from Meghan Trainor’s “Title.”

Five tracks from the upcoming release are currently available for purchase, and all began receiving positional boosts on Christmas Day.

Current single “Lips are Movin,” which recently became Trainor’s second top five hit on the Billboard Hot 100, was up to #3 on the iTunes all-genre single sales chart chart as of 1AM ET on December 26. While its position is under fire from Hozier’s #4 “Take Me to Church,” its Christmas Day gains in position and sales pace indicated a vast appeal with Christmas Day shoppers.

Trainor’s breakthrough “All About That Bass” also made Christmas Day gains. It was #5 at press time.

Album cut “Dear Future Husband,” which was also a standout performer from Trainor’s “Title” EP, is up to #34 on the all-genre chart. “Title,” which was eyed as the follow-up to “All About That Bass” prior to the emergence of “Lips are Movin,” follows at #67.

Another version of “Lips are Movin” (from the standard edition album) is #135, while “Title” LP and EP track “Close Your Eyes” is charting at #149.

Trainor’s “Title” formally ships on January 13.
