OAR’s “Favorite Song” Goes Top 40 on Billboard’s Adult Pop Songs Chart

While Mediabase is not issuing fully updated versions of its airplay charts during the holiday rush, Billboard remains committed to measuring radio activity. In conjunction with that commitment, it reveals that O.A.R.’s “Favorite Song” has reached the Top 40 on its Adult Pop Songs chart.

The Billboard counterpart to Mediabase’s Hot AC listings, the latest Adult Pop Songs chart ranks O.A.R’s latest single as its #38 song.

“Favorite Song” becomes O.A.R.’s eighth entry on the Adult Pop Songs chart. It most recently peaked #14 with fellow “The Rockville LP” single “Peace.”

Also new to the Billboard Adult Pop Songs top forty this week:

— Mat Kearney’s “Heartbeat” debuts at #39.

— U2’s “Every Breaking Wave” reaches #40.

The chart is currently ruled by Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space.” Meghan Trainor’s “Lips are Movin,” which is up to #17, ranks as the week’s greatest gainer.
