Ratings: “American Country Countdown Awards” Show Flops Monday

Rebranding its country awards show as the “American Country Countdown Awards” was not FOX’s ticket to improved viewership.

Monday’s broadcast, in fact, fared considerably worse than last year’s low-rated “American Country Awards” presentation.

Per fast national ratings data, the inaugural “ACCA” broadcast drew a paltry 0.9 adults 18-49 rating with 3.39 million viewers from 8-10PM. Among major network programming, it bested only The CW’s combination of “Hart of Dixie” and “Jane the Virgin” in the adults 18-49 and total viewership columns.

The broadcast peaked with a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating in the 9-9:30PM half hour. All other half hours drew a 0.9.

Last year’s “ACA” drew a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating with 5.14 million viewers.
