Played almost twice as frequently as the runner-up, Idina Menzel’s “Baby, It’s Cold Outside (featuring Michael Buble)” remains the song to beat at adult contemporary radio.
According to Mediabase, Menzel’s take on the classic received an impressive 1,192 spins and 6.84 million audience impressions during the December 7-13 tracking week. No song on Mediabase’s adult contemporary airplay listing came close in either regard.
Kelly Clarkson’s “Wrapped in Red,” which rises to #2 on this week’s airplay chart, received 646 spins during the tracking period. Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off,” which slips to #3 from an airplay standpoint but reached the format’s second-largest audience, commanded 625 spins and 3.42 million impressions.

— Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” enters the top 25 at #21 (+9). Sam Smith’s “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” enters the Top 30 at #26 (+34), while Ed Sheeran’s “Don’t” gets there at #30 (+4). Pentatonix’s “Mary, Did You Know?” reaches the top 40 at #40 (+4).
