Scotty McCreery Goes Top 10 at Country, Luke Bryan Reaches Top 20

When it comes to Scott McCreery’s music, country radio is definitely “Feelin’ It.”

“Feelin’ It,” the follow-up to McCreery’s successful “See You Tonight,” officially reaches the top ten on this week’s Mediabase country airplay chart.

The song ascends to #10 courtesy the 4,701 spins it received during the November 30-December 6 tracking period. Due to come under fire from Florida Georgia Line’s “Sun Daze” and Randy Houser’s “Like a Cowboy” in the near future, the song nonetheless reaches maintained enough distance this week to make its top ten status official.

Other key movers this week:

— Darius Rucker’s “Homegrown Honey” reaches the top fifteen at #15.

— Already up to #16 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, Luke Bryan’s “I See You” rises to #17 on the Mediabase chart this week. Its week-over-week spin gain of 655 trails was the format’s second-largest; up 702 spins, Carrie Underwood’s #7 “Something in the Water” was the only song to make a greater gain.

— Blake Shelton’s “Lonely Tonight (featuring Ashley Monroe)” rises two places to a new peak of #25.

— Tyler Farr’s “A Guy Walks into a Bar” and Toby Keith’s “Drunk Americans” enter the top thirty at #29 and #30, respectively.

— Josh Turner’s “Lay Low” and Garth Brooks’ “Mom” reach the top forty at #39 and #40, respectively.
