Nickelback’s “Million Miles an Hour” is Rock Radio’s Most-Added Song

Nickelback has thus far been unable to crack the 2014 pop arena, but its songs continue to prove attractive rock radio programmers.

According to Mediabase, Nickelback’s new single “Million Miles an Hour” scored thirteen monitored adds to rank as the active rock format’s most-added song this week.

The latest round of adds will help “Miles,” which is already #33 on the active rock airplay chart, continue its ascent. In an ideal world, it would reach the same #1 peak as predecessor “Edge of a Revolution.”

Other popular options for radio programmers this week included Chevelle’s “An Island” (8 adds), Pop Evil’s “Beautiful” (8 adds), The Pretty Reckless’ “Follow Me Down” (7 adds), AC/DC’s “Rock or Bust” (6 adds) and Papa Roach’s “Face Everything and Rise” (6 adds).
