The sales estimate for One Direction’s “FOUR” is holding in the 400-425,000 range, which means the act’s fourth album will cruise to victory on next week’s Billboard 200.
According to Hits Daily Double, the album’s 400K+ sales total will comfortably top the 200-225,000 mark expected of Taylor Swift’s “1989.” That album, which will appear on the chart for a fourth week, had sold in excess of two million through its first three weeks. A total of approximately ~212,5000 would represent week-over-week retention of 68%.
Pentatonix’s “That’s Christmas to Me” will meanwhile have its best week yet. The release, which has performed modestly (but steadily) thus far, will explode with a sales week in the 95-105,000 range. That will give it the edge over Nickelback’s new “No Fixed Address,” which Hits pegs for a bow in the 65-70,000 range.
Garth Brooks’ “Man Against Machine” should claim the week’s final top five slot. It is on track for a second week total in the 60-65,000 range.
