Papa Roach, The Pretty Reckless Are Most-Added at Rock Radio

Due to remain on the “Rise,” Papa Roach’s single repeats as active rock radio’s most-added song.

According to Mediabase, the band’s “Face Everything and Rise” scored another eleven monitored adds this week. That allowed it to retain its top spot on the add board even as several buzzworthy songs ventured onto the active rock radar.

Its closest competition came from The Pretty Reckless’ “Follow Me Down.” The follow-up to the band’s multi-week #1 “Messed Up World” (which was itself a follow-up to the multi-week #1 “Heaven Knows”) scored 10 monitored adds in conjunction with its official impact this week.

Nothing More’s “Mr. MTV” ranks as third-most-added on the strength of 9 weekly pickups, while Nickelback’s “Million Miles an Hour” and Slash’s impacting “Bent to Fly (featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators)” tie for fourth-most-added with 8 adds each.

Chevelle’s “An Island” (6th-most-added, 6 adds), Smashing Pumpkins” “One and All” (7th, 5 adds), Linkin Park’s “Rebellion (featuring Daron Malakian)” (8th, 3 adds), Rise Against’s “Tragedy + Time” (8th, 3 adds) and Three Days Grace’s “I Am Machine” (8th, 3 adds) also commanded interest from rock programmers this week.
