Ratings: “New Girl,” “The Mindy Project” Slip This Week (Updated)

Update: According to final broadcast data, Tuesday’s “New Girl” (1.3 adults 18-49 rating, 3.01 million viewers) and “The Mindy Project” (1.1 rating, 2.47 million viewers) indeed suffered week-over-week declines.

Lead-in “MasterChef Junior,” meanwhile, matched last week’s adults 18-49 showing but declined slightly in viewership.  It delivered a 1.8 rating with 4.89 million viewers.

Last week’s rebounds were evidently temporary. FOX’s comedies “New Girl” and “The Mindy Project” both slipped in the ratings this week.

After posting season high viewership marks last week, the two series fell into their usual fall 2014 ranges this week. “New Girl” drew a 2.95 million viewers (with a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating), while “The Mindy Project” garnered 2.45 million (and a 1.0 rating).

Lead-in “MasterChef Junior” contributed a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating with 4.81 million. While its viewership was also down this week, it, unlike the two 9PM comedies, matched last week’s showing in adults 18-49.
