Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” Repeats as Most-Added at Hot AC

Despite erupting at the hot adult contemporary format last week, Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” found enough new supporters to score most-added honors in conjunction with its official impact.

After landing at 31 monitored stations last week, Swift’s “Blank Space” repeats as most-added courtesy 36 monitored pickups this week. According to Mediabase, no other track scored even 33% of that support this week.

Gwen Stefani’s “Baby Don’t Lie,” the format’s next-most-added track, earned new support from 11 monitored stations. Hozier’s “Take Me to Church” and Meghan Trainor’s “Lips are Movin” followed with ten monitored adds each, while Imagine Dragons’ “I Bet My Life,” Mr Probz’ “Waves” and Nick Jonas’ “Jealous” shared fifth-place with eight pickups a piece.

Cobra Starship’s “Never Been in Love (featuring Icona Pop),” Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk! (featuring Bruno Mars)” and Train’s “Cadillac, Cadillac” closed out the top ten of the weekly Hot AC add board. Each track scored six adds.

Per Monday’s rolling Hot AC airplay chart, Swift’s “Blank Space” is already the format’s #22 song.
