Ariana Grande’s “Love Me Harder” Goes Top 40 at Pop

In what is arguably the least surprising chart development this week, Ariana Grande’s new “Love Me Harder,” which jointly credits The Weeknd, is officially one of pop radio’s Top 40 songs.

According to Mediabase, “Harder” leverages its 1,021 weekly spins to land at #39 on the official pop radio airplay chart.

And thanks to support from high-profile pop stations, it is performing even better from an audience standpoint. Its impression count of 11.17 million was the 30th largest accumulated during the October 5-11 tracking period.

With her “Bang Bang” collaboration included, “Love Me Harder” marks the fourth “My Everything”-era single to reach the top 40 at pop. Grande previously smashed with “Problem (featuring Iggy Azalea)” and “Break Free (featuring Zedd).”

Other new Top 40 entries this week include Fergie’s “LA Love (la la)” (#29), David Guetta’s “Dangerous (featuring Sam Martin)” (#35), Kendrick Lamar’s “i” (#36), Charli XCX’s “Break the Rules” (#38) and Hilary Duff’s “All About You” (#40).
