Ratings Update: FOX’s “Red Band Society” Slips 18% to New Low

Update: Wednesday’s edition of “Red Band Society,” which was the FOX drama’s fourth broadcast, slipped to a new series low in the adults 18-49 and total viewership categories.

The episode posted a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating with 2.91 million viewers.  Last week’s segment, which was roughly on par with the previous airing, drew a 1.1 with 3.33 million.

Earlier in the evening, FOX offered “Hell’s Kitchen” (1.4, 3.81 million).

After four episodes, the prognosis for FOX’s “Red Band Society” remains very gloomy.

Wednesday’s episode of the hospital-set drama drew a series low 2.3 overnight household rating. Down from the 2.6 delivered by the previous two installments, the number trails that of the September 17 premiere by 21%.

Last week’s 2.6 overnight household rating translated into a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating with 3.33 million viewers. With no uptick in sight, “Red Band” does not appear poised for a lengthy future on FOX.

Earlier in the night, the network broadcast “Hell’s Kitchen” (3.1 overnight household rating).
