MTV Hypes “Snooki & JWoww” Premiere, Gives “Awkward” Final Season

The end has arrived for two of MTV’s flagship series.

MTV announced Wednesday that “Jersey Shore” spin-off “Snooki & JWoww” will open its fourth and final season on November 5.

The twelve-episode final season, which MTV labels the “wildest season yet,” will chronicle “the zany antics of Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, their fiancés Jionni LaValle and Roger Mathews, and their new babies.”

“It’s the last and best season yet. Two babies and a wedding! Snooki and JWOWW do it like nobody else and viewers will have one more chance to see their meaningful once-in-a-lifetime adventures,” says MTV’s Susanne Daniels.

— MTV, meanwhile, renewed its top scripted comedy “Awkward” for a fifth and final season. The show, which is currently in its fourth cycle, anchors a Tuesday night lineup that also includes “Faking It” and “Happyland.”
